ABOUT ABOUT

Please join me for my 2nd VIRTUAL house concert, featuring DYADO from North Carolina. We had to cancel their live show in April, so now we're bringing them to our individual living rooms via Zoom! Dyado performed at my house concert series in November 2018, and are currently in the midst of recording their next album in Los Angeles, so while we are all in the same time zone let's make this happen!

Participants will enter the Zoom meeting and be able to hear the "crowd" gather from their individual homes, until eventually participants will be muted for the musicians to start playing. I will be moderating the event and be able to mute and unmute for applause so it feels very organic and real-time.

Dyado is a cousin folk-and-roll, Indie Americana farm-surf-pop duo based in Asheville, North Carolina. Matt Lohan and Louisa Stancioff are cousins who reconnected later in life in midcoast Maine when they were both working on farms and sailboats and learning how to play fiddle. They haven't stopped writing songs together since. They formed a band and toured around the country in a blue Ford Focus with a cow skull wired to the grill, singing songs about road tripping, falling in and out of infatuation with life and people and the inevitable end of the world as we know it. The band is named after their Bulgarian grandfather, a wonderful man who lives in midcoast Maine. "Dyado" means grandfather in Bulgarian.

You can listen to their music here. Watch them jam in the Vanagon here!

The requested donation is $15 per person. All funds go directly to Matt and Louisa! Please tune in after your work day is over. :-)
