ABOUT ABOUT

Please join me for my first-ever house comedy night! I had the good fortune of meeting and befriending professional comedian Steve Bruner last year, and had the bright idea of switching it up for my house concert series to showcase his comedy. This is going to be a memorable night!

Steve Bruner makes a living making people laugh. His comedy has been featured on Showtime, the A&E Network, ABC, Comedy Central and on nationally syndicated shows. Club appearances include The Comedy & Magic Club, The Improv, Catch a Rising Star, The Punchline and The Ice House. He’s shared bills with Ellen DeGeneres, Rob Schnieder and Dana Carvey, to name a few, and he’s also provided monologue material for the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Steve’s love of acting, writing, and performing keeps Steve busy in film, staged theatre, the college circuit, cruise ships, major clubs, and every corner of corporate entertainment. He sings (tenor), dances (ball room), and juggles (barely). He can even tie his own shoe laces! Watch one of his clips here: "When to Fear Your Wife"

Steve is bringing two friends with him to open the night:

Funny man Jim Farrell has written for multiple comedy television programs including “The Tonight show with Jay Leno.” Sure...you don’t need to exactly buckle up for his exaggerated sarcasm and delivery but it’s not a bad idea...

Derrick Leonard is a Bay Area native and a past winner of the "Wendy's What's Funny Comedy Competition." He is the creator and host of 'Baby Boomers Got Talent' show.  His observational dry style of humor has been described as a cross between Bob Newhart and Calvin Coolidge.

The cost is $20 per person. All money goes directly to the comedians!

As is custom with my house shows, please bring a beverage, appetizer or dessert to share. But please, NO RED WINE to save my carpets from that after-show blush!
